Salterton Library has a bright and cheerful area set aside for children,
complete with a gate and "garden fence" that make children feel
secure. We have board books and picture books for the very young, a section of Easy Reads for beginners and a good selection of stories and information books to suit all tastes. A small reference section is backed up by information CD Roms accessible to all on the computer sited in the children's area. Soft toys, building bricks and a compendium of games are also available for use in the Library. We also have storytapes, music cassettes and videos available for hire.
